About the Salty Dawg

We are pleased to announce the "NEW" Salty Dawg. The new boat is a 42-ft Chris-Craft 420 Tournament Fisherman with dual inboard diesel engines, climate-controlled cabin with berth, all of the electronic bells and whistles, bathroom, shower, sink, stove, and more. We have everything to keep anyone happy and comfortable, and welcome newbies and families!

She is also licensed for off shore fishing and we are considering doing winter fishing trips in Virginia Beach if there is enough interest from our clients. We are excited to offer fishing aboard a larger more comfortable boat and look forward to showing her off. We welcome both adults and children. We also welcome business groups (what better way to reward your employees or show your customers how much you appreciate them by enjoying a day of fishing on the Chesapeake Bay)! The Salty Dawg is located at the Beacon Marina in Solomons, MD.

Fishing equipment aboard the Salty Dawg includes Penn reels and custom rods for trolling, Penn rods and reels for medium tackle (for trolling and live lining), and Penn and Shimano outfits for light tackle fishing. We obtain all of our baits fresh from local suppliers to ensure the fish will bite. Many Chesapeake Bay Sport fishing enthusiasts have enjoyed a day on the Bay aboard the Salty Dawg with Captain Bill. We will get you from the dock to catching fish within minutes!
