Welcome to the 2008 season! We
are so excited to get this season started. This year, for the first time in so
many years, the MD DNR is now regulating this years season and the date and
size limits are set for the spring trophy season. Our spring season will begin April 19th
and each person will be allowed one fish per day over 28-inches. This provides us with the promise of a
wonderful start to what should be an exciting year for fishing (of course,
with the help of ol’ Mother Nature). We have been busy getting the Salty
Dawg ready with many updates and new tackle. With only a few weeks before the
season, we continue to be quite busy.
And with the addition of accepting credit cards, we hope that it will
make it easier for folks to book a charter with us. We
still have some dates available for the spring trophy season and we are also
accepting charters for the summer as well. Don’t miss out on hooking up
with the big ones! If you have
never caught a rockfish over 20 to 30 pounds, you should give the spring
season a try. It is always a
wonderful experience. We hope that you will join us this season and help make this a wonderful year to remember on the Salty Dawg! We will do our best to keep you posted as the season progresses.
