About the Captain

Captain Bill Zimmerman has been fishing in the Chesapeake Bay and the Florida Keys for over 36 years. He has been located in Chesapeake Beach for the last 13 years and is extremely knowledgeable of the middle Bay fishing areas. Capt. Bill will provide you with an enjoyable day (or evening) on the Bay. His excellent knowledge of the area will get you on fish such as rockfish (stripers), bluefish, spanish mackerel, croaker, perch, spot, and flounder. If they are out there and biting, he will find them.

Capt. Bill is a fully U.S. Coast Guard (Masters) licensed captain and does everything he can to make your trip as safe and enjoyable as possible. During the off-season here in the Bay (as well as occasionally during the season here), Capt. Bill offers charters out of Marathon Key in Florida. There, he specializes in off-shore fishing for dolphin, tuna, wahoo, king mackerel, and sailfish, as well as reef fishing for grouper, snapper, and yellowtail.
